Want Healthy, Happy Kids? Walk With Them.
Walking has always been my favorite mode of transportation. Yes, it’s usually the slowest way to get somewhere, averaging fifteen minutes per mile. Resolving to do nothing
I wrote a lot about resolutions in January. What I didn’t mention is that I don’t usually make New Year’s Resolutions. This year I decided to though. I can’t believe how quickly autumn came and went. Luckily, there are all sorts of lovely things one can do only when it’s chilly, like drinking warm apple cider while wearing a heavy turtleneck sweater, or eating a hearty pot roast and raising a glass of porter. Hmmm. My winter experiences appear to be all food and drink based. Why is this?
